Sebastian Barreto is a Program Associate at CCSI. He received two B.A. degrees from Bard College in Global International Studies and Photography. For his senior capstone project, he investigated the potential effects of remittances sent from the U.S. to Mexico on non-transnational families during AMLO’s presidency. Prior to joining CCSI, Sebastian worked as an assistant editor at La Voz Magazine and as an MFA assistant at the Milton Avery School of the Arts. During his undergraduate studies, he also interned at the Magnum Foundation and El Museo del Barrio as a research intern.
