Building on the foundation set by the COP 101 Workshop, this event co-hosted by CCSI and the Columbia Climate School aimed to deepen students’ understanding of critical topics in climate finance, focusing on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG) and insights post-COP. The event featured presentations and discussions led by esteemed Columbia University faculty members, providing a platform for engaging with leading experts and anchoring critical conversations around finance, policy, and climate action.
Presentations addressed recent developments and the implications of NCQG on climate finance, key takeaways from COP 29, and the impact of US elections on global and national climate finance and policy.
