CCSI works to develop practical approaches for governments, investors, communities and other stakeholders to maximize the contributions of international investment for sustainable development and minimize its harms.

CCSI does this by:

  • Empowering governments to develop strong and strategic legal frameworks to govern investments

  • Encouraging and supporting corporations to contribute to sustainable development and respect human rights

  • Ensuring that communities and other stakeholders have a voice in the decisions that affect them
